Good to Know

Arrival and Departure

On your day of arrival, your room is available from 2 pm.
We ask you to vacate your room by 10 am on your day of departure.

For stays of 14 days or more, there will be a gift from the house for our guests upon departure!

Closures

Restaurant closed on Mondays and Fridays (except holidays)! Our restaurant is closed all day.
If you arrive on a Monday, please make prior arrangements.

Opening Times

Our country hotel is open for you from 8 am. We pamper you daily with regional and seasonal dishes! Hot meals are served from 11:30 am to 9 pm. In the afternoon, a limited menu is available. Closed on Mondays and Fridays (except holidays)!

Our Rates

• Rates are per person per day in Euro.
• Prices include all hotel services (= Vital breakfast, incl. specialty coffee drinks, or half board, daily housekeeping, change of towels as required, and weekly linen change).
• In the morning, we will pamper you with a plentiful VITAL breakfast incl. specialty coffee drinks. When booking half board, the day also starts with a plentiful VITAL breakfast incl. specialty coffee drinks.In the evening we serve a 3-course meal with 3 main course options.
• Single room supplement for double room/apartment occupancy: €6 per day.
• Included in the price: 3 x weekly sauna wellness oasis and daily access to gym. Additional use of sauna facility and solarium at extra charge.
• We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for unforeseen cost changes (e.g., increased energy and food prices).

Internet Access

For business guests, who cannot, or do not want to, do without Internet on vacation: HotSpot - WiFi Internet access, Get online quickly with your laptop or smartphone. Wireless, of course through WiFi. Fast, simple, and straightforward! (Access for a low access fee - no usage charges)

Pets

• The fee for a pet (e.g., dog or cat) in apartments without daily housekeeping is and €30, one-time charge. In guest rooms and apartments with daily housekeeping, the fee is €5 per day.
• (Your own pet blanket must be provided.)

Parking

There are plenty free parking spaces, but garages can be rented as well.
Rates from April 1 to October 31: €3.50 per day
Rates from November 1 to March 31: €4 per day

Visitors' Tax

The visitors' tax is charged extra for all apartments and guest rooms
The visitor's tax is imposed by the City of Grafenau!
Rate 2015: per person over 18 years per day: €1.95, children 6-17 years: €0.90, children under 6 are free.

Environment

We produce our own electricity in our small hydropower plant. This allows us to supply our house almost exclusively with clean, renewable energy.
